[003 Read] Forget me not...
Whoa, completely forgot I was even a blogger until my lovely Amisha Bhabi reminded me this weekend! My summer's been too crazy (and hot)!
Anyways, I finished reading 'Cutting for Stone' a while back and I was pretty disappointed...I guess I expected too much from the book. It was a bit slow paced, filled with metaphors relating to surgery and medicine. I would give it a 3/5 stars. Would I read it again? Nahhhh. Would I recommend it to a friend, yeah and no...depending on whom.
On a much, much, MUCH more exciting note - I found this entire collection of short stories from 'The New Yorker' by Ann Beattie! Needless to say I am VERY excited to start.
I think this is enough for today. Summer is so draining...I didn't even know what day today was... ehh.
